🏁 Tour Itinerary: In-Depth Shanghai Tour
Day 1 – Arrival in Shanghai – Meeting the Guide at Airport
Welcome to the beautiful city of Shanghai! As soon as you arrive at the arrival hall, you will meet our guide which will help you have an amazing time in Shanghai. Once everything is in order and you have claimed your luggage, you are ready to go to your hotel and prepare yourself for your next day in Shanghai.

Day 2 – Shanghai Day Tour – The Pearl Tower – Yu Garden (B, L)
After having a full buffet breakfast in the morning, your day tour begins by learning about the history and culture of Shanghai and during a visit to the Shanghai History Museum. After that, we will head to the Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower (TV Tower) and take a look at the city from above this tower. Afterward, it is time for having lunch in a high-quality Chinese restaurant to regain your energy. After lunch, we will visit the beautiful Yu Garden. In this garden, you will see some traditional Chinese architecture. There are also carvings and decorations along with ponds, bridges, and artificial hills inside this exotic complex. Before finishing the day, you can then accompany us to some scheduled silk shopping.

Day 3 – Zhujiajiao Water Village – Night Cursing on Huangpu River (B, L, D)
On the third day of your tour, we will take you to the Zhujiajiao Water Village right after having breakfast at the hotel. In the water village, you can explore and visit the local shops; You can also take a boat and relax on the river. We have planned to have lunch in the famous A Thousand and One Nights restaurant back in the city to try some amazing Mediterranean food. After lunch, we will take you to the silk market where you can go shopping and learn about Chinese silk production. Then, we will go to Nanjing Road, a very famous walking street in Shanghai that leads west to our next destination called People Square. When in the square, you can have some free time of your own. You can walk to The Bund to see the Huangpu River or the skyline of Shanghai. For dinner, we will have fast food to save some time. Later that night, we will head to the Cruise ship terminal to spend the Night Coursing on the Huangpu River. You can have a relaxing and beautiful experience while we are on the river. By the end of the day, we will return to the hotel to rest and prepare for the next day of our adventure.

Day 4 – Optional Shanghai Disneyland (B)
This day is mostly for spending some free time on your own. You can take an optional tour and visit Shanghai Disneyland after having your breakfast. This is a highly recommended family destination but also an optional one therefore, you should book the entry ticket beforehand if you want. If you have any other questions or require assistance on this day, be sure to ask your guide or seek further information from our team.

Day 5 – Departure from Shanghai (B)
Finally, and at the end of the trip is the time for your last breakfast in Shanghai. If you have planned to leave shanghai, make sure to check out in time so you do not miss your flight. In case you are going to the airport, the best and easiest way is to ask your hotel to call you a taxi. The tour is just great. The people are lovely and kind. You will not have to worry about anything with a tour, just enjoy the scenery and history, I’m sure you’ll love it. I really liked the tour guide, Jacki, as he was really friendly and welcoming.

Shanghai felt just like home (except the language of course!). It was a truly beautiful trip and the water town was just amazing. If I ever get married, it can be a good place for a honeymoon even! The tour was nice totally and it was really worth a try; but I didn’t like local foods and I had to go for western food every time. Except this traveling to Shanghai is awesome.
